Our working process
From the first assessment to implementation and follow-up.
At the outset we make clear what work is being taken on, which steps will be taken and how you will be kept informed.
We identify the matter and the priorities
We review the general outline of the facts, the parties, the available documents and any approaching time limits. Before accepting the engagement, we assess its suitability and check for conflicts of interest.
Outcome: The need and the priority steps are identified.
We explain the scope and the terms of work
We discuss the work to be undertaken, the matters outside the scope, the attorney’s fee and the foreseeable expenses. We plan the necessary authorizations and document preparation according to the case.
Outcome: A written scope of services and terms of work.
We develop and implement the strategy
We weigh the legal options, the evidence and the risks, and carry out the litigation, defense, application, contract or negotiation work within the agreed scope.
Outcome: A work plan suited to the case, and the legal steps taken.
We follow developments and keep you informed
We report case developments, decisions and the steps to be taken in plain terms. We review the strategy as circumstances change, and at the end of the work we explain the outcome and the options that follow.
Throughout: Regular communication and updates at decision points.
You may be outside Türkiye
Distance does not stand in the way of communication.
Even when you are not in Türkiye, we can assess your matter, review your documents and set up the working arrangements your case requires.
Always know where your case stands; let us plan the necessary steps together.
How do we work with you remotely?
- Identifying your needs and objectives by phone or online meeting.
- Organizing documents, missing information and important dates.
- Explaining the power of attorney, translation and document certification your case requires.
- Distinguishing the steps to be taken in Türkiye from those that may require your personal attendance.
- Agreeing on the language of service, the communication channel and how updates are provided.
Whether you need to travel to Türkiye depends on the type of transaction and the circumstances of the case. The necessary preparations are explained to you after the initial review.
Before we begin
Scope, communication and fees are settled at the outset.
Sound legal work begins with clearly defining each party’s responsibilities and expectations.
What work is being taken on?
The boundaries of the litigation, enforcement, application, contract or advisory work are defined. Additional work that arises later is assessed separately.
How will you be kept informed?
A responsible contact person, the language of service and the method of updates are agreed. Important developments and matters requiring a decision are passed on to you.
How are fees and expenses separated?
The attorney’s fee is explained separately from court fees, translation, notary, expert, travel and other expenses. The payment arrangement is set out in writing.
Your questions
What you may want to know before deciding.
Every case has its own circumstances. The answers here describe our service model; your matter itself is assessed on the basis of your documents and information.
In which cities in Türkiye do you work?
Our Antalya-based firm handles litigation, legal advice and contract work in all 81 provinces of Türkiye and their districts. How a case is followed is arranged according to where it is pending and the steps to be taken.
Can I use your services without being a Turkish citizen?
Yes. We serve foreign individuals and international companies with Türkiye-related legal needs. The identity, company and authorization documents required are determined by the nature of the work.
What should I prepare for the first meeting?
A brief summary of the matter, details of the persons or companies involved, existing contracts and correspondence, any court or enforcement case details, and the dates of notifications and time limits make the initial review easier. We finalize the document list together according to your matter.
Is the language of service the same as the language of official documents?
We can communicate in Turkish, English, Russian and German. The language, translation and certification of documents used in official procedures, however, are assessed separately according to the requirements of the procedure concerned.
Does sending a message mean you have started working on my case?
Acceptance of the engagement, the scope of services and the necessary authorization are settled separately. Mentioning any known deadlines in your first message helps us assess priority correctly.
