How does it proceed, step by step?
The steps may run in parallel or change depending on the nature of the matter. Also read the key distinctions below.
The scope of job security, the termination and the application time limits are assessed immediately.
Mediation as a condition precedent to litigation is conducted; if no agreement is reached, the case is filed.
The validity of the termination and the parties’ evidence are examined under simplified procedure.
The decision and the available appeal to the regional court of appeal (istinaf) are followed; the special limitation on appeal to the Court of Cassation (temyiz) in reinstatement cases is taken into account.
After a final reinstatement decision, the application to the employer, the return to work and the financial consequences are followed separately.
