LOSS · LIABILITY · THE RIGHT APPLICATION
Compensation law governs by whom and to what extent damage caused to a person or to property is to be made good. Not every loss can be claimed from the same person, by the same procedure or within the same period.
We handle your file not only by the amount of compensation but in terms of liability, damage, causal link and proof. We support those who have suffered loss as well as the persons and organizations against whom a compensation claim is asserted.
Traffic and work accidents, loss of working capacity, care costs and loss of support.

Record the dates of the event, of learning of it, of the application and of notification separately. Do not confuse the preliminary application to the insurer or the administration with the time limits for lawsuits and objections.
Determine which rights a payment offer, waiver or settlement document covers. Take future losses into account as well, especially while treatment is ongoing.
The legal ground, the parties, insurance coverage and urgent time limits are determined.
Health, income and damage records are reviewed, and fault, disability and expert reports are examined.
The route through the insurer, the administration, mediation, arbitration or litigation is planned according to the file.
Settlement, legal remedies, payment, collection and recourse options are assessed.
Possible claims or defenses, missing documents, the order of applications and the need for protection are determined. The scope of the service, the attorney’s fee and possible litigation costs are explained separately. Matters that require technical expertise are assessed with the relevant reports; the amount or the outcome is not guaranteed.
Without waiting for all documents to be completed, state the date of the event, the type of loss and, if any, the approaching time limit.
They can be claimed together if the conditions are met. However, the basis, the rights holder, the proof and the time limits of each claim are assessed separately. The mere existence of pecuniary loss does not automatically give rise to a right to non-pecuniary damages.
A reliable amount cannot be stated without reviewing the file and the records. Damage, income, fault, loss of working capacity, the support relationship and earlier payments matter. For non-pecuniary damages, the circumstances of the event and an assessment of equity are decisive.
No. Claims arising from a tort, a contract, traffic, the administration or a special statute may be subject to different time limits and starting points. The dates of the event, of learning of it, of the decision becoming final and of notification must be checked separately.
Depending on the specific case, an application may be possible. The effect of the criminal file on the compensation action is examined separately. The continuation of the criminal process does not mean that all compensation time limits stop running.
It is examined which item of loss the payment covered, the limit, the liable parties and the documents that were signed. A residual claim may exist; the same loss cannot be collected twice.
Not in every file. The nature of the commercial, consumer or employment dispute and statutory exceptions are decisive. Actions arising from work accidents and occupational diseases that are specified in the law are not within the scope of mandatory mediation.
The court, the evidence, the court-appointed expert, the legal remedies and the conditions of collection affect the duration. Court fees, the advance on costs, expert fees and other litigation costs are separate items from the attorney’s fee. A definite duration or total cost cannot be given without reviewing the file.
Yes. Liability, fault, causal link, calculation, insurance coverage and procedural objections are assessed. It is important that you share the notification documents and, if any, the response deadline in your first communication.

FILE-SPECIFIC LEGAL ASSESSMENT
You can request a consultation by briefly stating the event, the type of loss and, if any, the date of notification.
Information and documents are used within the principles of confidentiality and protection of personal data, for legal assessment and within the agreed scope of service. An inquiry alone does not create an attorney–client relationship; it does not stop statutory time limits. This content is general information.
