Determine with the firm the special authority for divorce or separation and any other authority to be granted; prepare your passport-size photographs and confirm the required number with the place of application.
Prepare your valid identity document and the attorney-in-fact's details; confirm with the notary office or consulate whether additional documents and photographs are required.
If a foreign notary will be involved, clarify the sample text and the certification/translation route for the country concerned with the firm before the transaction.
