Check before the transaction

  1. Identify the subject of the dispute and, where applicable, the court or enforcement office and the file number.

  2. Clarify with the firm the scope of the authority to pursue the lawsuit and of the special authorities.

  3. Prepare your valid identity document and the attorney-in-fact's details; confirm with the notary office or consulate whether additional documents and photographs are required.

  4. If a foreign notary will be involved, clarify the sample text and the certification/translation route for the country concerned with the firm before the transaction.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use this text directly?

Assess the details and authorities in the sample against your specific transaction. The form of the notarial or consular act and the current legislation must also be checked separately.

What should I do if I will act from abroad?
