Match Authority, Records and Oversight for Corporate Compliance
Who will propose, approve, sign and check which transaction must be determined in writing. When managers change, books, electronic authorizations, contracts and pending applications may be handed over with a handover record.
Proportionality in member and donor data
Meeting lists, donation information and beneficiary data should not be published openly. The purpose of processing, the legal ground, access, retention and, if any, transfer abroad are examined separately. The duty to inform and explicit consent are not the same transaction.
The label of volunteering is not decisive by itself
The actual manner of work, dependency, pay and the arrangement of duties are assessed. A volunteer document does not by itself remove obligations that may arise from an employment relationship. The work and residence conditions of foreign persons are examined separately.
The scope of financial compliance
That profit is not distributed does not mean that every income and activity is exempt from tax. Economic enterprises, commercial activity and project income are assessed separately. In planning checks on the proceeds of crime and the flow of funds, whether certain obligations apply to the organization is determined according to its legal status; the same notification obligation is not imposed on every organization.
