A short explanation of how we prepare Legal Updates, how we select our sources and how our correction process works.
Publisher and scope
Legal Updates are prepared by Güneş & Güneş Law Firm and cover legislative changes, court decisions and announcements by institutions. The content is prepared for general information purposes; it does not replace a legal assessment specific to a particular case.
How can you read the content?
- Each publication type (legislation, decision, announcement) answers four basic questions in the ‘At a Glance’ section.
- The publication details list the source, the date and, if any, the access date together.
- The right-hand column contains a section guide and other publications on the related topic.
- The link that opens the official source directly is placed below the publication details.
Updates and corrections
When a substantive correction is made to a publication, it is stated with its date in the publication’s ‘Update and correction notes’ section. If you notice an error in the content, you can report it to us.

Publications are prepared by the attorneys of our firm and are reviewed before they are published. Publications that do not name an author are published on behalf of our firm.
