Attorney details
When a power of attorney is drawn up, the attorney details above are used; the authorities to be granted are determined for the specific transaction.
This is an English translation of the Turkish sample text, provided for information only. A power of attorney to be used in Türkiye is executed in Turkish: the Turkish original (PDF or Word) is the text to take to the notary or consulate, and the translation does not replace it.
Sample authority text (English translation)
On behalf of the company with tax number and title, which I am authorized to represent, to issue checks, to correct errors in the checks he/she will issue, to sign, to make a negotiable instrument undertaking, to draw up and sign negotiable instruments, to issue blocked checks, to request that a block endorsement be placed on the back of the checks, for this purpose to establish a block up to the amount of the check on our account operating with checks or on our other accounts, and a pledge in favor of all official, semi-official, private, national and foreign banks and special finance institutions that currently exist, or will exist hereafter, within the borders of the Republic of Türkiye (T.C.), to sign the necessary undertakings and documents, to pursue all acts and transactions required on account of the matters written above and to conclude them with his/her signature,

WORDING IN THE TEXT
This section explains the wording found in the source; it does not add any new authority to the source text.
What matters is which of the wordings on creating, transferring or releasing security appears in the source. Authority to release security must not be read as authority to create security.
Refers to the authority to apply to the relevant institution or sign documents for the specified transaction. The scope of documents and transactions should not be treated as unlimited.
PREPARATION BY TRANSACTION
Prepare the bank or institution, account, loan, receivable or security details.
Identify the debtor, the amount of the transaction and the term; distinguish between your own debt and another person's debt.
Prepare your valid identity document and the attorney-in-fact's details; confirm with the notary office or consulate whether additional documents and photographs are required.
If a foreign notary will be involved, clarify the sample text and the certification/translation route for the country concerned with the firm before the transaction.
Assess the details and authorities in the sample against your specific transaction. The form of the notarial or consular act and the current legislation must also be checked separately.
Use the Print option, or download the Turkish original as a PDF or Word (RTF) file. Only the Turkish original is offered for download, because a power of attorney to be used in Türkiye is executed in Turkish. The RTF file can be edited in Word and compatible word processors.
First clarify the transaction and the scope of authority with our firm. Depending on whether you go through a consulate or a foreign notary, determine the preparation of documents, certification and translation.
