Privacy Policy

The firm's general approach to confidentiality in the use of the website and in communication with the firm; contact, document sharing, digital services, cookies and your rights.

This page explains the general approach to confidentiality in the use of the Güneş & Güneş Law Firm website and in communication with our firm. You can find the explanations on personal data processing in the contact, first application, client relationship and document sharing processes on the KVKK and Privacy Notices page.

Professional confidentiality and personal data

The information and documents you share are handled, within the assessment of your request and the performance of the relevant legal service, with regard to the principles of professional confidentiality and the protection of personal data. The information processed, the purposes and the legal bases are explained in the privacy notice of the relevant process.

Communication and document sharing

In the first contact, a short summary of the matter and important dates are enough. Decide with our firm first by which method you will share identity numbers, health data, bank details and extensive case documents. Send data belonging to other persons only to the extent limited by the legal matter and your authority to share it. You can read the explanations on Secure Information and Document Sharing.

Email, WhatsApp, maps and other external services work on their own technical infrastructure. The use of these services, the data processed and, where applicable, the conditions for transfer abroad are assessed separately. Your choice of a communication channel does not create a general permission for marketing, meeting recording, transfer of documents to artificial intelligence services or other purposes.

Visiting or continuing to use the site does not mean that you have given explicit consent to the processing of your personal data for every purpose. If there is a separate processing activity based on explicit consent, its purpose and scope are explained separately.

Cookies and managing your preferences

You can find information on the site's cookies and, where applicable, optional services on the Cookie Preferences page. The preference and data processing explanations of the relevant services apply within their own scope.

Your rights and how to apply

You can find your rights under KVKK Article 11 and the methods of applying to the data controller in the Your Rights and How to Apply section. A contact request and a personal data rights application are different processes; the relevant period and application explanations apply.
